Greek Dance Lessons: The weekly Greek dance lessons were held from September of 2009 to March of this year. The instructor for this series, Vicky Tsekou, relocated to Greece with her family as her husband Harry completed his course of study at the Naval Postgraduate School. The classes averaged between 10-15 students and Vicky taught many of the traditional dances from various areas of Greece. The lessons proved to be invaluable as several of our Parish members and guests who did not previously know how to dance are now dancing. Vicky was a wonderful instructor who interjected humor into the learning process. Her ability to interact and communicate with students made everyone feel comfortable and made the learning process very enjoyable. She will be greatly missed. We are in the process of identifying another instructor and hope to have classes start again in the near future.
