Greek Festival 2008:
Saint John Greek Orthodox Church of Salinas welcomes you all
to our annual Greek Food Festival on Labor Day Weekend. The
location is at the beautiful Custom House Plaza, which is
a Monterey State Historic Park next to Fisherman’s Wharf.
COME BE GREEK FOR A DAY and share the Greek traditions of
food, drink and dance. Thank you for allowing us to bring
a little bit of Greece to your Labor Day Weekend.
Authentic Greek FOOD :) Your mouth begins to water as you
walk through the Plaza and smell the aroma of pork, lamb,
chicken and various other entrees. The PASTRY booths offer
a variety of goodies: BAKLAVA, KOURABIETHES AND LOUKOUMADES
